Our FrontGuard Entrance Doors

One of our classic style FrontGuard doors.

As with many modern-day inventions, the Ancient Egyptians are largely credited with the earliest recorded doors. The meaning of doors back then was one of religious significance. They symbolised the entrance to the afterlife. Modern doors have largely lost their link to this symbolism but the importance of doors in modern society is still huge. Although doors have taken inspiration from the design of ancient doors they have still changed lots over the years. Our FrontGuard entrance doors offer security to rival that of the tombs of the Pharaohs.

What is special about our FrontGuard doors?

FrontGuard doors are supplied with three features that many front doors do not always come equipped with.

These three features are:

  • Energy Efficiency. FrontGuard front door frames and their seal are all specially designed to minimise heat loss in the home. The door itself is filled with insulating foam to counter heat loss. Upgrading to FrontGuard doors can help to save money on energy bills.
  •  Break-in resistant lock. The doors feature multiple-point locking to offer extra security to your household. The hinges of the door are secured with three security bolts and a safety device strip which prevents forced opening of the door.
  • Shatterproof glazing. All FrontGuard doors come with double-glazed windows as standard. Some of them incorporate triple-glazing for extra thermal efficiency. The outside layer of the glass is made of laminated security glass with the interior made of safety glass. This safety glass ensures that should the pane smash then you and the occupants of your home are protected from any sharp shards of glass.
